What Our Goal Is:

Our Motivation and Mission

Our goal is for the urology workforce to one day reflect the population we serve but, with Black and Latinx urologists representing just 2% and 4% of urologists in the USA, we know that our impact needs to expand.

In order to grow, we need your support!

Where Your Support Goes:

Supporting Underrepresented Minority Urologists

Your gift will support our webinars and workshops, application review, mock interview programs, our annual resident bootcamp, research, networking events and more! It will also support the Dr. Ifeanyi Onyeji Medical Student Travel Award that will send 3-5 students to the American Urological Association each year

Dr. Wilson and Urology Unbound provided resources and mentorship that were crucial to my application process and matching. After becoming a member, I was introduced to urologists across the country, who not only answered all my questions, but were eager to provide any assistance that I needed. Thank you Urology Unbound!

I will be forever grateful to Urology Unbound for all they did for me. From reviewing my residency application to mock interviews, tips on how to prepare for and be successful in residency and linking me with genuinely caring mentors, they did it all.

Thank you so much UU.

Resident, Emory University

I cannot understate how influential Urology Unbound has been to my professional and personal development as I sought to pursue Urology as a medical student and now as a resident physician. I have participated in the resident bootcamp the last two years and it has truly prepared me with the skills to be a more efficient resident, navigate complex work environments, and build confidence in myself as I navigate being amongst the very few Latinas in Urology.

Urology Unbound's Big Sib program has also granted me the opportunity to engage in mentoring a URM medical student interested in pursuing urology - something that I am very passionate about. Overall, I highly recommend Urology Unbound to any URM interested in Urology or currently training in Urology.
